Custom Packaging Quote Checklist: What to Send
Organize the dimensions, quantity, artwork status, intended use, and delivery details needed for a useful custom packaging quote.

Representative packaging concept or capability reference, not completed customer work.
A useful custom packaging quote starts with the product or packaging family, finished-product dimensions, quantity, intended use, delivery destination, and artwork status. Material, print, finish, insert, and timing preferences help, but open details can remain clearly marked for review instead of being guessed.
Product, size, and quantity
Identify what will be packed, its known dimensions, and the quantity being considered.
Destination and timing
State the delivery country and target timing so the enquiry is not reviewed in a vacuum.
Artwork and references
Share available artwork or visual references and clearly label anything still in progress.
The short version
You do not need a completed packaging specification to start a quote enquiry. You do need enough information to identify the likely format, understand what will be packed, and separate confirmed facts from preferences that still need review.

Helpful details when you already know them
- Preferred material or a reference package
- Interior and exterior print requirements
- Matte, gloss, soft-touch, foil, spot UV, embossing, or debossing interests
- Window, zipper, valve, spout, closure, or insert requirements where the format supports them
- Product weight, packed arrangement, or filling process when relevant
- A target date and the reason it matters
These details improve the first review, but none should be invented just to make a form look complete.
What can stay open
It is acceptable to write not sure for the structure, material, finish, or insert. A useful brief distinguishes known facts from open decisions. UPG can then review the closest product family and identify the next information needed.
What the first response should not be treated as
An initial response is not automatically a final price, production slot, approved structure, approved artwork, freight commitment, or delivery date. The accepted written quote or agreement confirms the commercial and production terms for the project.
